In a Safe Place by The Album Leaf

This album reminds me of golden light passing through the forest. I love this album because it's slow and beautiful. It reminds me that love is in the subtleties of life and there is someone in this world that loves me. 

I shot this photo somewhere between here and Paris. I feel the safest when my head is in the clouds because I leave my heart in the clouds for safekeeping.

萬慢－A collection of slow songs

This playlist was created earlier this year in January. During this time, nature seemed to slow down and the airwaves were filled with silvery molasses. Over an Italian breakfast, we agreed to walk this year together and be slow together. 

These songs remind me of red cabernets, coffee and creaky hardwood floors in an apartment that smells like a library.

Eternal Sunshine by Jhene Aiko 

This song reminds me of being just a girl in the big city with nothing but a dream. My best friend and I sat in her apartment with a cockroach trapped under a cup and we talked about love and becoming. In the end we decided on nothing and all we had was each other. 

I shot this photo in Tulum, Mexico when Laura and I walked for a mile back to our resort. Along the way I looked for signs of love and found white flowers with hints of purple, his favorite color.
