A secret garden of roses lies within us.

I run a digital content agency and this is an overview of the client work I've done as the creative director/photographer of Rosalie.
I think it's important to address the origins of my aesthetic before we get to the heart of it, which one can argue is the one and the same if purity remains intact.
I wanted to be an artist since I was 7 years old, when I took a painting class at the local YMCA. It was the first time where I realized I could create a different reality with my hands. Since then, art became the medium that allowed me to go beyond my circumstances.
As fate would have it, I got accepted into UCLA's art program. At UCLA I had begun my early explorations of the female identity and flowers, themes and motifs that are still very prevalent in my work now. Photography was the last medium that I learned at UCLA. I always had a point and shoot, but when I first got introduced to a 35mm film camera in beginner Photo 1 as a junior in undergrad, I fell instantly in love.
This is a total understatement, but being a photographer in LA isn’t easy. The market is completely saturated and the craft itself is demanding and requires hours and hours of practice before your portfolio can even be presentable. But what kept me going was the hope to share my art with the world. I don’t love photography as much as I love creating and artistry, and photography is simply the medium that allows me to do so. I love Annie Leibowitz and Mario Testino’s work, but I love Tim Walker and Audrey Kawasaki’s art even more.
Rosalie is the aesthetic that was born from my artist intention. Rosalie imagery is beautiful in a non traditional way because it’s dark and full of contrast. I believe in imagery laced with emotion and executed with careful craftsmanship. Rosalie tells the story of a girl who is beautiful and independent. I believe that our art is a continual reiteration and re-telling of the deepest part of us, and my desire is to find beauty in the mundane. I’m so thankful I can share my aesthetic with you all. Thank you and welcome.
I specialize in creating strong compositions to showcase products. This is where my creativity and impeccable technical execution come together. Below is an overview of flatlays I've done for both clients and for personal use.
